New Jersey

A New Jersey SEO company that works with the trades

We are in North Jersey and most of our clients are within an hour of us. Pressure washers, window cleaners, electricians, painters and landscapers across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris and Union.

Where we work

North Jersey, mostly

We take work further out and we have clients in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and further west than that. But the bulk of it sits in a handful of counties, and knowing a market matters more than most agencies admit.

Bergen and Passaic

Where most of our clients are. Ridgewood, Waldwick, Paramus, Mahwah, Wayne, Wanaque and up toward West Milford. Dense, competitive, and a market where the map pack decides who gets the call.

Essex, Morris and Union

Bloomfield down through Scotch Plains. Different competitive picture, more national franchises in the mix, which changes whether you fight on the map or on the long tail.

Anywhere you can drive to

Being local is convenient, not essential. What matters is whether the towns you serve have real pages behind them and whether your listing is set up for the searches people run there.

What is different here

Three things about ranking in New Jersey

The towns are small and there are a lot of them

Bergen County alone has around seventy municipalities. Proximity carries real weight in local results, so a listing in one borough can go invisible three towns over. That is the whole reason we measure with a grid rather than a single search.

The competition is denser than it looks

Being twenty minutes from New York means national franchises and out of state agencies both bid here. It does not make you unrankable, but it does mean the generic terms are a poor place to spend your first six months.

Seasons swing hard

Exterior work here has a real off season, and marketing spend flat across twelve months wastes a chunk of it. The work should build coverage in winter and cash it in from March.

The work

What the local SEO actually is

Your Google Business Profile, worked weekly

Categories, service area, services, photos, questions and posts. This is where the fastest movement is for almost every New Jersey home service business we audit, and it is almost always the thing nobody has touched since setup.

Pages for the towns worth driving to

Not all seventy. The ones where the jobs pay and the drive makes sense. Real pages with the services you run there, not a template with the town name swapped.

Reviews arriving steadily

A request after every completed job rather than whenever someone remembers. Volume and recency both count, and this is the lever most owners leave alone because asking feels awkward.

A rank grid every month

The same search run from dozens of points across your service area so you can see, town by town, where you show up and where you vanish. It is the only honest way to report this.

Questions

Working with a local shop

Do we need to meet in person?

No, and most clients never do. Everything runs over calls and texts, which is what suits someone running crews. If you would rather sit down, we can, and being nearby makes that easy.

Do you only work in New Jersey?

No. We have clients in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and as far out as Idaho. North Jersey is just where most of them are and where we know the markets best.

Will you take on my competitor?

Not in your service area. In a state with towns this close together that rule matters more than it would somewhere else, and we hold to it.

What does it cost?

Plans are $247, $347 and $597 a month with no build fee. Hosting is $300 a year billed by Webflow directly. Everything is published on the pricing page rather than quoted per client.

How long before I see movement?

Google Business Profile work often shows in four to six weeks. Ranking gains across a service area usually take three to six months and keep compounding after that.

See where you rank across your towns

Get on the phone with us and we will run the searches your customers run, from the towns you serve, while you are on the call. Most owners have never seen that view of their own business.
