Website design

Contractor website design that books jobs

Built for the homeowner standing in a driveway on their phone, not for a design award. Custom, fast, live in 30 days, and there is no build fee to get started.

The job of the page

Three questions, answered before they scroll

A homeowner finds you on a phone while looking at a stained roof. They are not reading. They are scanning, and they are answering three things.

01

What do you do?

The service, in plain words, at the top of the page. Not a slogan about quality and integrity. Every week we open contractor sites where you have to scroll twice to find out what the company actually sells.

02

Do you work where I live?

The towns go on the page. A homeowner two counties away and one next door are looking at the same site, and only one of them is worth a call to you. Naming your area filters the wrong ones out and reassures the right ones.

03

How do I get a price?

One obvious next step, repeated down the page. A number that dials when tapped, or a short form. Not four competing buttons. If a visitor has to decide how to contact you, a share of them decide not to.

What you get

What is different about a site built for a trade

We write the copy and find the photos

The most common reason a contractor website sits half finished for a year is that somebody was waiting on the owner to write it. We pull usable photos from your phone, your Google profile and your Facebook page, and if there is nothing good we tell you exactly what to shoot.

Fast on a bad connection

A page that takes six seconds on cell service loses people before it renders, and oversized images are almost always why. We test on real phones, not on a fast desktop in an office.

A page per service and per town

One page listing everything you do ranks for nothing. Separate pages for the services that pay and the towns worth driving to are what give Google something to match a search against.

Forms that actually deliver

We fill in the form ourselves and confirm it lands in your inbox and on your phone. It sounds obvious. We have audited plenty of sites where it had been quietly broken for months.

Built in Webflow, not on a page builder

No plugins to update, no security patches to chase, and nothing to go down at nine on a Friday because two plugins disagreed. Hosting is $300 a year, billed by Webflow directly to you.

Changes handled by us

You text us a new price or a new photo and it is done. You can edit it yourself if you want to, but you will never be stuck inside a page builder trying to remember how it works.

Thirty days

Start to live, week by week

There is no discovery phase that eats your first two invoices. Your total time on this is about an hour.

01

Audit and access

Kickoff call, then we get added to your Google Business Profile, your registrar and your current host. Your domain stays in your name throughout.

02

Design and copy

You see the homepage first so you can react to the direction before we build everything else on top of it.

03

Build

Every service page, every town you serve, forms wired to your phone and inbox, analytics and Search Console connected and tested.

04

Review and launch

Your changes, a final pass, then the domain cutover. Your old site stays live right up until the new one replaces it.

Questions

Before you commit to anyone

Is there really no build fee?

Yes. The build is covered by the monthly plan, which starts at $247. The trade is a twelve month initial term, because we are carrying the cost of the build across it.

Do I own the site?

Your domain is yours from day one and stays in your name. The site itself is yours to take after the initial term. During the term it lives on our Webflow account and we maintain it.

What if I have no good photos?

Most contractors do not, and it is the single most common thing that stalls a build. We use what exists, and where there is a gap we send you a short shot list. It takes an afternoon on a job site.

I already have a site. Can you just fix it?

Sometimes. If it is fast, readable and converting, a rebuild is a waste of your money and we will say so. If it is a slow page builder site with fifteen plugins, fixing it costs more than replacing it.

Is thirty days real?

It is if you take the kickoff call and do one review pass. The builds that slip are the ones where we are waiting three weeks on a decision about the homepage.

Will it actually rank, or just look good?

A website on its own does not rank. Every plan includes the Google Business Profile work and the local SEO that makes the site findable, because building a site nobody sees is not a service worth paying for.

Try the three second test on your own site

Open it on your phone at arm's length, give yourself three seconds, then look away and say what the business does, where it works and how you would get a price. If you cannot, neither can your next customer.
