Pelican Plumbing did not exist online when Matthew Forte started it. A brand new plumbing company has no search history, no domain age and nothing for a homeowner to check when a drain backs up at nine at night. Forte also had a specific picture of how he wanted the business presented, and needed someone to build to that picture while he stayed on the tools.
We built the site around eight service pages, one each for general plumbing repairs, drain cleaning and clog removal, water heaters, toilets and fixtures, emergency plumbing, gas lines, water filtration and heating. Home, About and Contact sit alongside a dedicated schedule service page, so a homeowner can book a visit without hunting for a phone number. The Google Business Profile is connected to the site.
Pelican has a site that covers the full residential job list, so a search for a failing water heater and a search for a clogged main each land on a page about that job. The schedule service path gives the company a way to take work in writing as well as by phone, which matters for a one truck operation that cannot answer every call live. The site now points at a Google profile carrying a 5.0 star rating.
