Construction company websites for general contractors, remodelers and home builders

SiteHike builds and manages websites for contractors, and every plan includes local SEO, Google Business Profile work and a monthly report that counts your calls. We haven't built for a general contractor yet, so this page shows the electricians, plumbers and landscapers we have built for and explains how the same build applies to construction. Plans start at $347 a month with no build fee.

What we've built for contractors in other trades

The figures below come from Google Search Console for sites we built and still manage. Every site is linked from our work page, so you can open it and check.

Trapani Electric, Morris County NJ

Trapani's site has 18 residential service pages, seven commercial pages and five county pages with 23 town pages. Residential and commercial live in separate menus. It launched in April 2026 and recorded 6,222 Google impressions in August.

MC Outdoor Services, Union County NJ

A landscaping and hardscaping company with six service pages, separate residential and commercial landing pages and four county pages. Google impressions went from 281 in July 2026 to 4,021 in August, and the average position moved from 79.7 to 56.4 in that month.

Pelican Plumbing, Mahwah NJ

Pelican had no website when it started. The site has eight service pages and a schedule service page, so a homeowner can book a visit in writing instead of leaving a voicemail, and the Google profile is connected to the site.

How it works

Three things to know about construction websites

Each project type needs its own page

Kitchen remodels, additions, basement finishing, decks and new builds are separate searches with separate buyers. One services page that lists everything gives Google nothing specific to rank, so we write a page for each kind of project you want more of.

Photos of your own work do most of the selling

A homeowner choosing a contractor wants to see finished jobs and the people who did them. We build a project gallery from your own photos and use them again on the matching project pages, and we don't use stock photos of someone else's work.

Local SEO is included in every plan

We don't sell SEO as a separate package. Plans are $347, $447 and $697 a month, each one includes the website, the Google Business Profile work and the local SEO, and there's no build fee. Higher plans add more town pages, more content and follow up automation.

The work

What a SiteHike construction website includes

A page for each project type and service

Remodeling, additions, new construction, commercial build outs, and the trades you self perform. Each page carries your own photos, your process and your license information, so a search for a basement finishing contractor lands on a page about basement finishing.

County and town pages for your real service area

We build a service areas hub with county pages and town pages underneath, and we cover only the places you actually go. Search data decides which towns get a page, so the site doesn't fill up with thin pages.

Your Google Business Profile, set up and kept current

We set the categories, the service area, the services list and the photos, and we keep them current. A review request goes out by text after each project, so the asking doesn't depend on anyone remembering.

A rank grid and a call count every month

The report shows a map of where you rank for your main search across your area, the change from last month, and the number of calls and form fills the site and profile produced. We explain it in plain language and tell you what we're doing next.

Questions

Questions contractors ask us about websites

How much does a construction company website cost?

Plans are $347, $447 and $697 a month with no build fee, and each plan includes the website, the Google Business Profile work and the local SEO. Hosting is about $300 a year billed by Webflow directly. Everything is published on the pricing page.

Have you built a website for a general contractor?

Not yet. We've built for electricians, plumbers, landscapers and exterior cleaning companies, and those sites are live on our work page. The build is the same for a general contractor or a home builder: a page for each project type, a gallery of your own work, county and town pages, and the Google profile work. We'd rather say that plainly than show you someone else's construction site.

Do you build home builder and remodeling websites?

Yes. A remodeler needs a page for each kind of project and a gallery organized the same way. A home builder needs pages for communities or floor plans and a clear way for buyers to get in touch. Both fit the same plan.

How long until the site brings in calls?

The site is live in about 30 days. Google Business Profile changes often show in four to six weeks, and ranking gains across a full service area usually take three to six months. The monthly report counts the calls and form fills, so you can judge the plan on the jobs it brings in.

What if I already have a website?

We'll look at it on the call. If it's fast, well built and has a page for each project type, we'll tell you that and focus the plan on the Google profile and town pages. If it's a one page site or a template with stock photos, a rebuild is usually the faster route.

See where you rank in the towns you serve

The free audit covers your website, your Google Business Profile and your local rankings, and it comes back in writing. If you'd rather talk, book a call and we'll run the searches your customers run while you're on the phone.
