Local SEO

Rank in the map pack when customers search in your service area.

Overview

Ranking on Google is not one thing. For a home service business it is mostly one thing: showing up in the map pack when someone types your service and their town.

That is what we work on, rather than vanity keywords or national rankings: the three results that sit above everything else when a homeowner searches from their kitchen.

How it works

First we find out where you rank

We skip the national averages and run a grid across your service area and see where you show up and where you vanish, town by town. Most owners are surprised by how fast it drops off outside their own zip code.

Then we fix what is holding you back

Your Google Business Profile, your citations, your service pages, your reviews, and the on-page work that ties your website to the places you serve.

Then we keep at it

Local rankings move. Competitors post, Google shifts, a new listing appears two towns over. We check monthly and adjust, and you get a report that says what changed in plain language.

What you get
  • A rank grid across your service area, refreshed monthly
  • Google Business Profile optimization and upkeep
  • Service and location pages built to rank
  • Citation cleanup across the directories that still matter
  • Review generation so your rating keeps climbing
  • Monthly reporting in plain language
Questions

What owners ask about this

How long before I see anything move?

Google Business Profile work often shows inside four to six weeks. Ranking gains across a service area usually take three to six months, and they keep compounding after that. Anyone promising page one next month is either buying links or lying.

Can you guarantee rankings?

No, and neither can anybody else. What we can guarantee is that you will see a rank grid every month showing exactly where you stand, so you can judge whether the work is doing anything.

Why do I rank at my shop but nowhere else?

Google answers from where the searcher is standing, not where you are. Proximity is the one factor you cannot change. Everything else, coverage, reviews, profile activity, is what we work on to widen the area where you show up.

Do I need city pages for every town?

Only the ones worth driving to. A thin page for a town you have never worked in helps nothing and can hurt. We build real pages for the places you want jobs.

What about the spammy competitor with fake addresses?

They exist in every market. Fake listings can be reported and we do report them, but it is a slow process and not a strategy. Outranking them properly is more reliable than waiting for Google to act.
