Fencing

Fence installation and repair contractors.

Fencing
Overview

Fencing is a considered purchase with a long gap between the first search and the deposit. Homeowners price wood against vinyl against aluminium, get three quotes, and then think about it for a month.

What gets in the way
  • Long decision cycle means quotes go cold before they close
  • Material choice drives price, so quoting blind wastes everyone's time
  • Big box installers compete on price and brand recognition
  • Permit and property line questions come up on every job
  • Seasonal demand spikes that are hard to staff for
What we do about it

Answer the material question first

Wood, vinyl, aluminium, and chain link compared honestly with real cost ranges, so the person arriving at your quote already knows what they want.

Qualify before you drive

Forms that capture length, material, and property details so every estimate is worth the trip.

Stay in front for a month

Follow up that runs the length of the actual decision cycle, not just the week after the quote.

Questions we get asked

The things that come up on almost every first call in this trade, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

My decision cycle runs a month. What holds a quote together that long?

Follow up sized to the real cycle rather than the week after the estimate. Most contractors go quiet after two attempts, which is roughly when a fencing customer is still comparing materials. Staying politely present through week four wins a lot of these.

Material choice drives the price. Should the site compare wood, vinyl, and aluminium?

Yes, and honestly, with real cost ranges. Someone who arrives at your estimate already knowing they want vinyl is a much shorter conversation and a much likelier close. Those comparison pages also happen to be some of the easiest fencing content to rank.

Big box installers have brand recognition. Where do I win?

On the things they are consistently bad at: property line and permit questions, custom and non standard work, and turning up on the day they said. Put those on the page rather than assuming people know.

Should I be quoting from photos?

That is your call, but either way the form should capture length, material, and property details up front, so the estimates you do drive out to are worth the trip.

Demand spikes and I cannot staff for it. Does more marketing make that worse?

It can, and we will tell you if that is what we are looking at. If you are already turning work away in May, the fix is pricing and scheduling, not more leads. Pouring traffic onto a business at capacity just produces angry voicemails.

Do I own the website when this is done?

Yes. The domain, the site, the content, and the Google profile are all yours. If you decide to leave, you take them with you. There is no version of this where we hold your website hostage.
