Pressure Washing

House washing, driveways, and soft washing for exterior cleaning contractors.

Pressure Washing
Overview

Pressure washing is a proximity business. Someone sees a neighbor's house get done, pulls out their phone, and searches. Whoever shows up in the map pack for that street gets the call, and it is rarely decided by who does the better work.

What gets in the way
  • Rankings drop off sharply a few towns out from your home address
  • The season is short, so a slow spring is hard to recover from
  • Every competitor is quoting off a photo and racing to the bottom on price
  • Facebook leads go cold because nobody follows up the same day
  • The website was built by a relative in 2019 and crawls on a phone
What we do about it

We build for the towns you serve

A page for each area you work in, written properly rather than spun, so you can rank outside the zip code your truck is registered in.

We make the before and after do the work

Your own photos, laid out so the difference is obvious in the first two seconds on a phone screen.

We catch the leads you are missing

Missed call text back and same day follow up, so the person who called while you were on a roof does not simply call the next company on the list.

Questions we get asked

The things that come up on almost every first call in this trade, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

How long before I show up in the map pack for the towns around me?

For towns next to the one your truck is registered in, usually three to six months. Towns further out take longer and some never get there, because Google weights proximity heavily for this trade. We will show you a ranking grid for every town you care about before we start and again every month after, so you can see it moving rather than take our word for it.

Do I really need a page for every town I serve?

For pressure washing, yes. Homeowners search "pressure washing" plus their town, and the volume is real. The catch is that each page has to be different. Ten pages with the town name swapped out is a pattern Google has been demoting for years, and it can drag down the pages that were working.

My season is short. Can you have this working before spring?

Depends when you start. The build takes about thirty days, and ranking takes months after that. Work started in January is landing around the time the season opens. Work started in April is paying for a season you will mostly miss. That is not a sales line, it is just how the timeline works.

What about the leads I buy from Angi and Thumbtack?

Keep buying them while the organic side builds. We are not going to tell you to cancel your lead flow on day one and hope. Run both, compare cost per closed job after a season, then decide with numbers instead of opinions.

Do before and after photos really matter that much?

They are most of it. Someone decides in about two seconds on a phone screen. We use your photos, not stock images, because a driveway that is obviously not in your area does more harm than an average photo of a real job.

Can you guarantee I will rank number one?

No. Nobody can, and anyone who does either does not understand how Google works or is counting on you not checking. What we will do is show you exactly where you rank now, and where you rank every month after that.

Where can I read more about how you market this trade?

We wrote a full page on pressure washing marketing: what it costs, what moves the needle, and the wash company sites we have built. Start there if you are comparing your options.
